Isolde Blouse

Isolde Blouse is a soft, light and feminine blouse featuring an allover eyelet pattern, puffed 3/4 length sleeves and ribbed edges. It is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round with 2 strands of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.

You start with the ribbed neckband and continue with the raglan construction yoke to the underarms. Sleeve stitches are here placed on hold to be worked after the body has been completed. Ribbed edges finish the body and sleeves. The length of both sleeves and body can easily be adjusted. The Isolde eyelet pattern is charted only.

Isolde Blouse is designed with positive ease. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm [38½”], you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.

Yarn: 2 strands of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m [246 yd] / 25 g [0.9 oz]), lace-weight yarn, 7 (8, 9, 10, 11, 11, 12, 13) balls. Sample is in Soft Silk Mohair in Brown Nougat colorway. 
Needles: 3 mm / US2.5 and 4 mm / US6 circular needle in cable length 80 cm [32”], 3 mm / US2.5 and 4 mm / US6 double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 20 sts and 27 rows = 10 cm [4”] in the Isolde Pattern (Chart D) with 4 mm /US6 needles and 2 strands held together
