Olives Tiny Rib

Olive’s Tiny Rib is a simple ribbed sweater for the youngest worked from the top down using 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. You start shaping the neckline with short rows before continuing with the raglan construction yoke. Sleeves and body are finished separately, and both the sleeve length and body length can easily be adjusted.

Yarn: Knitting for Olive Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk (250 m [273 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), fingering-weight yarn, 2 (2, 2, 2) // 3 (3) balls. Sample is in Merino in Cardamom colorway
Needles: 2.5 mm / US1.5 and 3 mm / US2.5 circular and double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 29 sts and 40 rows = 10 cm [4”] in 2x2 rib pattern with 3 mm / US2.5 needles
