Olive's Vest - Adult
With a classic minimal design, and using 1 strand of Merino and 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout, Oliveās Vest is your perfect basic slipover that is both easy to wear and easy to knit.
The vest is worked top down in stockinette stitch, and both flat and in the round. You begin with the folded ribbed neckband and continue with neckline shaping using German Short Rows before working each front and back piece separately down to the underarms. From here, you continue in the round before finishing the body with a ribbed hem. Lastly, you pick up stitches around the armholes and finish with a folded ribbed edge. Oliveās Vest is designed with positive ease. To choose the correct size, look at the āto fit chest circumferenceā measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm [381ā2ā], you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.
This design also comes in a childrenās version (1-12 years).
