Robin Suit

Robin Suit is a simple and practical loose-fitting all-in-one suit for babies and small children. It is worked from the bottom up using 1 strand Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk. The suit has a raglan construction, a back neck split along one of raglan seams that closes with buttons and another opening on the inside of the legs that is also closed with buttons to make diaper changing easier.

Yarn: Knitting for Olive Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk (250 m [273 yd] / 50 g [1.8 oz]), fingering-weight yarn, 3 (3, 4, 5) balls. Sample is in Merino in Thunder Cloud colorway
Needles: 2.5 mm / US1.5 and 3 mm / US2.5 circular and double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge. In addition: 2.5 mm / US1.5 crochet hook
Gauge (after blocking): 28 sts and 38 rows = 10 cm [4”] in st st with 3 mm / US2.5 needles
Notions: 7 (7, 9, 9) buttons (diameter: 10-12 mm [½”])
